Go to the PS4 Home screen. Select Settings. Select Parental Controls/Family Management. Select PS4 System Restrictions. Enter the passcode.

To set parental controls, you'll need your own account for PlayStation Network and an account for each child. If you set up the child accounts, you'll automatically become the family manager. If someone else sets up the child accounts, they can appoint you as a "guardian" to enable you to set parental controls and spending limits.

All your Family Management tools and parental controls can be accessed via your PS4 console’s settings menu, from the web on PC or smartphone or via the PlayStation App. Simply sign-in with your account for PSN, go to the Family Management dashboard and you can review what children in your family have permission to access and adjust your settings on-the-go.

On your PS4 system, go to Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management > PS4 System Restrictions. Enter the existing system restriction passcode. If you haven't set one before, the default is 0000. Select Change System Restriction Passcode. Enter a new four-digit passcode using the corresponding buttons on the controller.
